About the event
All Master Captains operating an inspected sailboat must hold a sailing endorsment. This is a 4 hour course, with a 20 question exam proctored on site. All materials are provided for you during the course.
Topics include:
- Why boats fly
- Commands
- Parts of a Sailboat
- Types of Sailing vessels
- Rules of the Road
Important: You have 3 attempts at the exam. The first exam is included in the price of the class. If an exam is failed and you must re-take it, a make up exam will be in Plainfield, IL and a proctor fee of $45 will be applied per person, per session. You may re-take an exam at any of our scheduled courses for no fee.
