Important Exam Policies & Fee Schedule Please review the following terms before scheduling your Marine Radio Operator Permit exam. By enrolling, you agree to these terms: 1. Technology Requirements The exam is conducted via a live proctor. To participate, you must have: A computer with a working webcam. A stable internet connection. A smartphone to assist in the check-in and monitoring process. 2. Fee Structure FCC License Fee ($35): After your application is processed, you are responsible for paying this fee directly to the FCC. Explorers Guide does not pay this fee on your behalf. Rush Fee: If you schedule an exam to be taken within 48 hours, a rush fee will apply. This must be paid via a separate payment link (provided upon scheduling) before the exam begins. Retake Fee: A $25 proctoring fee will be charged for each additional exam attempt. No Refunds: This service is strictly non-refundable. 3. Cancellation & Rescheduling $25 Cancellation Fee: This fee applies to any appointment canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
